The fourth edition of the Dual Hub Summit took place on April 10 in Santiago as part of FIDAE 2026, cementing the event’s status as a strategic forum for dual-use innovation in Chile. Organized by Know Hub Chile, it brought together more than 200 representatives from the Armed Forces, academia, industry, startups, and the public sector at Latin America’s premier aerospace and defense gathering.
Since its first edition in Concepción, the Summit has evolved to bring together stakeholders who were historically disconnected from the national ecosystem. In this edition, held against a backdrop of high geopolitical volatility and the restructuring of global supply chains, the choice of FIDAE as a platform made it possible to showcase local technological capabilities to international markets and highlight the convergence between the scientific community and strategic demand.
Through panel discussions and networking opportunities, the fourth edition addressed challenges such as operations in multi-domain environments, building trust between the defense sector and academia, and the role of artificial intelligence in complex environments, reaffirming that dual-use innovation is a key tool for advancing the country’s technological sovereignty.
