The third edition of the Dual Hub Summit took place on October 24 in Viña del Mar, as part of Innovapolinav 2025, cementing the event’s status as a leading forum for dual-use innovation in Chile. Organized by Know Hub Chile in partnership with the Navy’s Center for Technological Innovation (CiTA) and Innovapolinav, the event brought together representatives from the defense sector, academia, industry, and the government to discuss the advancements and challenges of technologies with both civilian and strategic applications.
Since its inaugural edition in Concepción, the Summit has evolved into a platform that bridges science, industry, and the public sector. In this edition, the partnership with the Navy helped highlight progress in technology transfer, applied research, and international cooperation, further integrating scientific capabilities with national development priorities.
Through panel discussions, technology presentations, and networking opportunities, the third edition reaffirmed that dual innovation is a key tool for strengthening the country’s technological sovereignty, productivity, and sustainability, paving the way for long-term collaboration among the defense sector, academia, and industry.
