The event aims to create a pioneering platform for collaboration between science, industry, and defense.
The Dual Hub Summit, the first Latin American conference on dual innovation, will take place on May 6 and 7 in Concepción. Organized by Know Hub Chile, it will bring together universities, startups, companies, the armed forces, and government agencies to develop joint technological solutions.
“We believe that development is built on trust and cooperation among sectors that have historically worked in isolation,” says Javier Ramírez, executive director of Know Hub Chile.
The event will address challenges such as the National Continuous Shipbuilding Plan and the Avante 04 program, in collaboration with the Chilean Navy, as well as promote dual-track technological entrepreneurship.
Among its objectives, the summit aims to make dual innovation—which bridges science, industry, and defense—a standard and strategic practice for national development. The event aims to be a milestone for multisectoral collaboration in Latin America. With roundtable discussions, thematic panels, and real-world case studies, the Dual Hub Summit will provide a platform to explore how cooperation between different sectors can address specific challenges facing the country, ranging from sustainability to technological security.
With the support of Corfo and ANID, the event strengthens a strategic partnership between public and private stakeholders, both domestic and international.
