Dual Hub Summit – FIDAE 2026
The fourth edition of the Dual Hub Summit will be held for the first time at FIDAE, Latin America’s premier aerospace and defense event. It is a forum where regional and international leaders come together to position Chile at the forefront of dual-use innovation.
The permanent dual innovation platform
Dual Hub is the first permanent dual-use innovation platform in Latin America, launched by Know Hub Chile in 2019. It brings together science, defense, industry, and entrepreneurship to accelerate dual-use technologies with both civilian and strategic applications.
Unlike initiatives focused on isolated projects or one-off events, Dual Hub functions as a structural framework for long-term collaboration: it integrates applied research, technology development, technology transfer, and standards development.
From the private sector, we are building bridges, bringing together different
sectors around a shared goal: to strengthen Chile’s and the region’s technological autonomy and productive resilience.
CONTINUITY
This is not a one-time event; it is a platform that has been in continuous operation since 2019.

For its 2025 edition, the Avante Challenge brought together 32 teams from across Chile and selected the 10 most promising ones for an intensive 15-week technology development process.
